DEL Minister launches Qualification Comparison Database - 07/11/2011

The EURES Cross Border partnership has been heavily involved in rolling out a new service to those who wish to live and work in N Ireland. The Qualifications Comparison Service offers individuals from outside Northern Ireland the opportunity to call into one of Department for Employment and Learning's Employment Service offices and have their qualifications compared against the UK equivalent. This will enable both them and importantly employers to check whether they have the necessary qualifications to apply for or fulfil the criteria for specific jobs.

The service was launched recently by Dr Stephen Farry Minister for Employment and Learning and memebers of the EURES Cross Border Partnership Steering Committee were in attendance.
